Ensure the memory card is inserted prior to usage: Make sure the memory card is in place before using, as recording will not be possible otherwise. 3. Battery specifications: This device needs 8 AA batteries for optimal functioning (batteries are not provided). Be aware that using only 4 AA batteries is limited to the TEST mode, and inadequate power may disrupt the device’s regular performance. 4. USB port functionality: The machine’s USB port is designated solely for data transfer and is not intended for charging purposes. 5. Description of operation modes: The device has three settings: OFF, TEST, and ON. Please select the TEST setting and ensure to change it to ON once the device is ready. In ON mode, the device will begin recording automatically once the countdown is complete. 6. Precautions for night vision functionality: If the night vision shooting results are not normal, please verify that the battery is adequately charged and confirm that the night vision mode is activated.
